Dr Trish Moffat, Veterinarian and Greyhound Lover

Dr Trish Moffat is a vet at Vetlife Oxford and self-confessed perfectionist, but who better than a perfectionist to be taking care of our animals? Because GRNZ subsidises the rehabilitation and retirement of every greyhound, Trish and her team get a lot of greyhounds in their clinic. These dogs get the utmost care from the friendliest of staff and true animal medical experts like Trish. Trish is also a greyhound lover herself. At home she has two retired greyhounds and has looked after many more. She loves being able to do her part to help greyhounds become healthy lifelong companions.

Like all New Zealanders living and working with animals, greyhound people deserve a fair go. New Zealand’s greyhound sector has been put on notice, but the Kiwi greyhound community is small and aren’t having their voices heard. They deserve a fair chance to show Kiwis how they work and how much they love and care for their dogs. We need support from everyday Kiwis. Help us share real stories from the real Kiwis living and working with greyhounds today.
